Krone Filter Solutions manufacturing range of self cleaning backflush filters is very wide. It consists of the self cleaning Bernoulli filter KAF (Krone automatic filter), the KRF filter (Krone backflush filter) or the new development the 2 stage combined filter KBBF which uses the development of the KAF self cleaning filter as prefilter down to mostly 200 or 500 micron and the second stange fine filtration of the KRF.

The self-cleaning automatic filter KAF (Bernoulli Filter) is suitable for a variety of uses. It is self-cleaning and maintenance-free filter and is used to remove contamination particles from highly polluted cooling and process water as well as other fluids, e.g., from natural water sources (sea water, river water) and heating and cooling systems and processes.

The filter operates pressures from 0.3 bar (in special cases also 0.0 bar) and is characterized by a low pressure loss, high flow rates, simple and durable design, high performance, low weight and space saving design are the benefits of the system.

The KRF backflush filter is self-cleaning, maintenance-free filter for fluids that is suitable for a wide range of applications.

The differential pressure at the strainer is monitored by the electronic control using differential pressure switches. The cleaning process starts when the pre-set differential pressure of 0.2 to 2 bar (as per design) is reached.

Depending on operating conditions, cleaning can also be started by timer control or manually by pressing on a button.

The self-cleaning automatic KAS is a versatile self-cleaning, virtually maintenance-free filter for removal of particulate contaminants from highly polluted waters as well as other process fluids. It can separate particles from 50μm to 5 mm.

The scraper filter system consists of a housing, filter element and a scraper. Optionally a geared motor, a filter control, drain valve and differential pressure gauge are also included.
